What happens in Vegas....stays in Vegas.

I apologize in advance for the second request for some critique here guys but I am attempting to clean up my project files folder and concentrate on the songs with the most potential. The song is called "15 in 4" and was the first song I ever wrote and recorded. It describes my experience of driving to Las Vegas for the first time with friends at the tender age of 21. Should I continue on with this project or "recycle bin" it? Brutal truth only please.

I remember hearing this one before, Mike.
There is something about it that I have always liked. Maybe it's the chug of that guitar riff.
It's got the feel of hurtling across miles of nothing, and the strange mindset that ensues on a long road trip.
This song reminds me a lot of driving across Utah and southern Idaho.
It still wants something, I'm not sure what, but I wouldn't scrap it. Just something about it that makes me want to reach for my keys and drive.

    Mike,
Don't trash it! There's something really, really cool going on here. Right at the end there is a little change in the guitar rhythm. That is where it needs to go. Also, bring that snare up to match the kick, and it will carry more of what I'm hearing in the groove. Just my opinion. I think this one has a lot of potential. Keep it!!!

Mike: nooooooooooo. Def keep it - though I don't have much more than that. I would hate to see a good tune like this go into the bin. Maybe just stick it in your back pocket a little longer, it may give you the time you need to see it through to the end. Works for me!

I also agree with everyone...you need to keep this one........However it needs development.........the guitar riff is good.....don't change it........but the drums need some work and the vocals I feel need the most ...( I know becasue i cannot sing my way out of a paper bag!!!!!) but they seem like they are just screaming at me. I think they need to be organized / maybe mixed a little different........maybe use that second voice a little more sparingly.....????? or ask Rockin Robby if he would throw in some background vocals.....I can hear his voice in this ..........I think he would match / compliment yours very well.........
The bass I do not hear all that well..........(but the again I am listening on ear buds)........maybe you could get mamma bear to throw in some keys for you..........

but I do like the initial concept of this composition...........keep it ........develop it..........let us hear it again
