Directwave Users: Can you audition/preview samples before loading?

Hi all,

Amazingly DW Demo doesn't not let you load samples while trying to evaluate this sampler. It looks quiet good so far but I can't see where/how I would audition/preview a sample (such as wave files) on the keyboard before I load it into this sampler.

I would also like to know if the "Replace sample" feature will give you the ability to also audition/preview but "in context" (meaning it will keep parameters such as Lfo, pitches, glides etc). I've seen these features in allot of samplers and to me at least they are a must have.


Can anyone shed some light here? Are these 2 things possible in Directwave?

(I'm blocked from posting on the DW user forum because I have yet to buy the product - shame because I'm trying to evaluate thus far)
