Wierdest Thang I heard today

Evidently Larry Flynt managed to get his name into the news two times today.

He and the founder of Girls Gone Wild have sent requests to congress for $5 billion to bail out their particular industry. Flynt said in an interview "Americans can do with out cars and such but they cannot do with out s__".

Additionally, he has evidently filed a lawsuit against a couple of his nephews, accusing them of putting out lower quality product than his corporation, but using the cherished Flynt name.

Wow. Twice in one day.

that's laughable. bailout talk is dangerously on the line my friend of one of the two forbidden topics.

however, go for it - larry - a good laugh is always welcome.

A "bailout"? Isn't that like $50 bucks in Amsterdam? Depending on whether or not you want the rubber shirt?

Yes it's much cheaper if you wear the shirt.

I prefer the rubber socks tho the way they bunch up yer toes an' all. Pay yer 50 bucks wait 'til they put them babies on yer feet then just run...that way you get to wear them all night...and you get to keep them...

I got 6 pairs now and still can't decide which are my favourites.

Having been to Amsterdam many times, I am a much bigger fan of the coffee shops. There coffee aint Star Bucks, but they have the best juke boxes. And they always smell like burning rope.

BTW - $50 was the going rate for a bailout in Amsterdam the last time I was there. One of the salesmen I worked with had his favorite bail woman he liked to work with.

Not to be discriminating, but I have always believed that the entry fee - as it were - ought to be much higher so that not just everyone was getting bailed equally. As such, I spent my time in the Grasshopper and the Brown Bag.

That would make the credit default swap problem look like a paper cut.

Yeah, my wife doesn't let me touch the checkbook.

She would look in my ledger and see entries like "bill" and "missing money" and "wierd charge" and "I don't know"

I'm stuck in the past, but my foot's tapping forward

Poor Larry, he doesn't understand that with "youporn" you can get for nohting what he charges for. Kinda like the cow and the milk for free - why buy?

The porn industry don't need a bailout, it needs another working model.
