    Gonna be hard to enforce, given everybody's different definitions of what constitutes politics or religion.

    You can't just say "politics" and think everybody's going to think the exact same thing.

    Politics and religion are forbidden here? Well I think we just need to focus on those elements that transcend those proscribed realms. You've got humor, which musicians from Mozart to Frank Zappa have always seemed to enjoy as a way to get beyond these social limitations. For example, Dubya's stupidity could be said to transcend the merely political. And "Father Ted" and "Curb Your Enthusiam" certainly transcend Catholicism and Judaism, respectively. So, like many a great comedian, whether performing in front of the ruling elite, or on network TV, the idea is to suggest that one is certainly not trying to break any of the rules. Who, me?
