Why have so many alien species .....
..... despite often being centuries more technically advanced than humans (I'm watching War Of The Worlds on BBC3 at the moment), failed to understand the concept of clothes? Don't they feel the cold for Pete's sake?

Didn't the War of the Worlds aliens come from Mars? Where it's like -100 degrees? Of course they won't wear clothes on Earth - too dang hot. Besides, you can't grow cotton on Mars... Or maybe they're exothermic. Or just like being nekkid. Or they actually ARE wearing clothes, but the clothes are invisible. Transparent to light but not heat. Or maybe they studied humans by watching TV programs that made their way to the alien planet - decided to dress like us hoping to be inconspicuous, except the only channel they were able to pick up was the Playboy channel... Even more curious, is why do alien races that DO wear clothes all wear the same outfit?

Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad. 2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1. More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent. Zendrum!!!

They never wear clothes because they are organic robots sent to gather information on our world and galaxy to see if we are worthy of advanced technology which will save our world, because we are on a collision course with the Dark Rift and the Andromeda Galaxy. They are wearing clothes...we just don't see them due to our immediate focus on what's most vital about them, their ability to render us violently spent. Most women who pass by are also seen the same way...... and for the same reason.
