mp3 encoder?

Does anyone know where ya get the mp3 encoder, either here on the website or if its on the program...my sonar home studio says to unlock the mp3 encoder when i want to export the file as an mp3. What does that mean? How do I fix it? Where is the mp3 encoder.

    You have to pay to use the encoder that's bundled with SONAR. Most do not, given that there are free alternatives. The most popular one is LAME, which you can download here.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
