Yes. Amazing. We had a 'heavy' shower at about 16:00 yesterday and another one at 10:00 this morning. (at least 1mm!) but it's sunny and warm here again now.

Jeff , ya just showing off now.. it's not smart or clever .. I won't be so mean when Devon gets snowed in with 4mm of snow

do you live anywhere near errm Slapton Ley? we went there years ago to a science centre there for a field trip... I almost said Nature centre.. but you might have got the wrong idea as when I googled it years later apparently theres a nudist beach further down the road..lol

London being brought to a stop made world news... a few friends around the globe asked me about it... alas some places reported we were all unhappy apparently..

nah the news here was rather different... it's thawing now anyway

but thats the worse bit as you get loads of ice.

We're about 10 miles as the crow flies or 20 miles by road from Slapton. Whenever I've been there it's always been blowing a gale.

Do naturists enjoy being sand blasted?

The snow is still sitting atop of yon hills. The sun's just gone behind some very grey looking clouds and we may get a bit more yet!

Is there any other bloody news to report?

We've had a bit of snow and we're getting wall to wall coverage from all the news programmes.

Remember a few years back when a bit of snow was 'normal' and we used to get a 15 second video clip of a car sliding somewhere and that was it.

Talk about overkill - they're reporting it on the BBC news at this moment like we've had a ruddy earthquake or another Gulf War or something.

Sheeeesh.

It is global warming. We should have listened.
Global warming is responsible for the US being 8% colder than normal this year too.
Oh and for particularly brutal winters on a couple planets out there besides earth.
