Brits - What a night for Everton

Did any of you watch the FA Cup replay Everton v Liverpool last night, not a pretty game but a blood and guts encounter played in a cauldron of noise and plenty of drama as the game went into extra time. A total cock up by ITV as they put an advert break in with two minutes to go and missed the winning goal. Chaos in my place as we ran to the kitchen to stick the DAB radio on to listen to the commentary, then heard the roar on the TV in the living room as the match came back on and didn't know who had scored. As an Evertonian it all turned out all right though

I take it you don't ring him very often then....

Gary - I watched the game. Adverts in the middle - what is this the Superbowl !!! It's the thin end of the wedge.

Yes Vyne, when it came to their FA Cup coverage last night, ITV got their TICTACS all wrong last night...... But what a goal from the young lad Dan Gosling

Got to agree with that, and I thought overall it was also pretty well refereed as well.

As a Liverpool supporter i was disappointed in the result, but it always looked like one goal would win it. Looks like we are going to see how much of a one-man team the reds are now that Gerrard's out for three weeks

Shame that ITV and footie coverage is such a bad mix - Andy Townsend . . . what a pl*nker!

And good luck to Everton against Villa

PS were you guys wearing your Fellaini wigs?

Yeah Fog, there were two winners and losers last night, Liverpool and ITV, and Everton and TicTacs, whose advert they cut to, TicTacs have been mentioned in all the papers today, they got their money's worth of advertising all right !!!

I reckon the cat food industry would quote you 3p a lb for him on a good day, personally I think that's far too much.
