I'm want to cheat on my wife!!!-

with the new omnisphere softsynth!!!

I spent a couple of hours looking at info. on the new omnisphere softsynth-man that thing had me drooling. God I wish I had the money to pick that up.

    I am still using S3-are there any S3 users that are experiencing any issues with these two functioning o.k. together????

    It is very nice and will choke a PC easily. Better have a good machine to handle some of it will do.
    Running 7PE so can't answer the S3 question.

    I was checking out the some of the videos on there sight and u-tube; I was amazed at how huge and pristine the sounds were-the sound design capabilities look amazing.
    Dang I wish I $500. right now; better go start praying

    Spacey, have u ever heard rapture?--if so, how does the omnisphere compare in overall sound quality to that synth?

    No, sorry, have never run rapture. I can say the sound quality of Omnisphere is most excellent.
    There is more than one way to operate Omni too. What it can do is "stack" sounds. The "stacking" is what'll test your PC....doesn't take much of that to peg the CPU.
    I would be surprised if they can be compared...(as I go out on a limb)...just hard to imagine someone doing the craft the way Spectrasonics does it.

    If you had the chance to hear Atmoshere, Omnisphere blows it away. (Omni replaced Atmos)

    I don't place keys (guitarist,kinda) and I got it as an upgrade from Atmosphere...worth every cent. ( a tune I'm trying to finish now has my first keyboard ever using Omni..FUN)
