seattle area musicians

hello all. was in the band scene in the area about 4 years ago now and played out at lots of area clubs with the band for several years. we were a hard rock band that played at area clubs that accommodated this genre of music. now i'm looking to do solo singer-songwriter stuff (acoustic guitar) maybe with another person or two and i don't have much of a clue as where to try to get shows for this style of music. i sort of lost track of the music scene in seattle after having a child need to get back in.

what are some places to contact/send cds to? even suggestions for fun open mic places would be great. anyone play similar types of tunes that would like to put a show together? that would be awesome!
