Roland SP-555 sampler

Does anyone own one of these?
I'm saving up to buy a laptop and this sampler and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this equipment.

I'm just a bumbling idiot thats trying to figure out how to use Music Creator 4 :(

    nope, but buying a hardware sampler.. hhmm

    what about a software one instead?

    you'd be better off getting kontakt + sonar 8 PE upgrade ..IMHO

    I don't know the costs of upgrades / things in the US, but in the UK well that sampler isn't that cheap.

    or in the meantime you could get a freebie like short circuit etc.
