their new album is gonna be a test of things for the majors.. I mean the suits are a bit worried..

how they got Regent Street is closed though, I was surprised with .. I used to go uni across the road and it's a very busy road. (a stones throw from oxford street)

Yup this is a big release done in what looks like the conventional manner, be interesting to see if the old model still holds up. If U2 can't pull off a release like this it says the future is here right now....

Did you see their tiny rehearsal room with the low ceiling? they must be playing at v low volume as none of then appear to have any ear protection in there

V interesting, Bono intimating that they mix and master their music for optimal listening on ear buds, not a shock revelation (especially given their iPod sponsorship) but a sign of the times for us all I guess...........

they were selling one with their complete collection ? or part of their album.. I think errm who was it.. ringo starr had his album on a USB pen drive recently.

I still like owning the real cd though. Well providing they haven't brick walled it to an inch of it's life..

I guess the thing now is media servers I see a fair few of them advertised. Suppose in one way you save space.

I was hoping the thing with all this change would force people to make albums that were good all the way thru, and not just 1 or 2 tracks and the rest filler. I don't even subscribe to the whole .. it should be 50 minutes or so... and x amount of tracks.
