Sonar 8.3 Console - Axiom 49 problem!

hi all a strange thing is happening when i assigning remote control in console to my axiom 49.
i access the remote feature assign control 111 (first slider on axiom) however when i move the slider up the volume goes down to (0) and when i move the slider down the volume goes up to (127).
this never happened in previous versions.can anyone confirm?

hi fog im using preset 20..i was using preset 17 but since i installed 8.3 that disappeared for some reason..it used to be listed but if you look at the screenshot it's gone since installing 8.3...
also i was using midi learn in the console and not act.
p.s
timing with audio snap is all over the place aswell mate..im having to zoom right in on everything to do with audio to correct it.i snapped the audio to beggining of 4th bar and this is what it does..??

i have preset 17 but it's showing only for the axiom 61 now....might roll back and install 8.2 as i need to work fast with the audio and it's all over the place.
