What's your plan?

For the future?

Me:

1. V Studio 700 or RME/MCU (then sell my FW-1884)
2. i7 based machine
3. Start a once a month blues jam band
4. Pay off my CC's (50% there now, should be 100% paid off by July)
5. New car in '10 (prolly hybrid) to replace my 2000 Volvo S-80
6. Buy SONAR 9 et. al.

Bapu it's to early for me to retire and with the economy shaking I'm not planning anything to expand my music.
Although I probably won't be facing a job loss I'm not spending. May invest in a security system...the way jobs are being lost around these parts I expect in about six months the crime rate is going to get crazy.

I'm planning on learning more about mixing even though I know more equipment/software is needed. I'll just focus on getting better with what I have for now.
And really a good time to do more intense picking.

Bapu, new car is cool but keep the Volvo and wish I was closer to be part of the jammin'.

    Load up on weapons.
    Stock up on food
Be prepared for hyper-inflation, food shortages, riots

And buy a plug in a month. This month I am thinking of Ozone 4.

Get better at mixing & mastering, in order to produce a Slow Marching Band CD.

Produce a solo CD for my friend Tim to sell at his gigs.

No spending here I'm afraid, not this year anyway.

No spending on my end either! The plan is to become a better musician/composer. Take SMB to a higher level. Practice the hell outta my guitar, and learn to use what I already have.. I can't afford a bullet, so, I'll have to use a butter knive....

Noooooooooooo. You win. I can't take that kind of abuse.

I just listened to When The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway the other day. Now I have to find Nursery Crime or Selling England By The Pound to get that hideous song out of my head.

Selling was always my favorite. Followed by (most of) the Lamb.

    Oh yeah, the plan.

    1. Remaster my first CD (which, due to my youth and inexperience at the time, sounds like @$$, despite that I still like the songs) - working on that now.

    2. Finish up another (unreleased) CD (that's already 95% in the can, just needs polishing).

Probably won't spend a lot of $$$, though, only because I spent a ton on gear in the last couple years. At this point, if my product isn't good sounding, it's not the fault of the gear.

    Best,

We've got more guns per capita than the US, we just don't shoot them at each other as often.

Besides - by the time the cat food runs out, I doubt I'll be worrying about legalities...
