We have two dogs and a cat. The dogs think I am a god. The cat is willing to put up with us, as we seem to serve a purpose. She enjoys our company to a point, and she can't open the bag of Meow Mix on her own. She's 14 and getting a little cranky, but when she was a kitten, she used to love to play fetch. Now she just looks at you like, you threw it you go get it. Stupid humans.

Whoaaa talk about "in your face"!!! Think of the trust we put into animals that could shred your face in a second. Did you ever wonder if you suddenly shrunk down to the size of a mouse if your cat would still recognize you or go on instinct and bat you around until you expire???  I'm thinking if you remove size you are just a cat toy to them.

heh. yeah. I put nail caps on my two kitties (you can see these in the pics) so they can't do any damage when I play with them. They don't mind at all. They think it gives them magical power. They may be right.

That looks like an Oriental? An Oriental can be half Oriental and half Siamese and still be considered a purebread Oriental.
That's what Aja is - but is solid body in color - a Blue Oriental.

I'd greatly appreciate you cat lovers training your beloved moggys to crap in your garden, not mine.
Plus if dogs killed and maimed as much of our wildlife as cats do, there'd be a public outcry and calls for a ban on people owning them - am I right?

One of my favorite groups - had the opportunity to see them live a couple of years ago - Corney Bumpus - one of my favorite sax players was still alive and played with them that night - just a great show.
I thought I was being clever - you know, an oriental cat named Aja - most people don't get it.
