TH2 Producer no longer works.
I opened an existing project and realised that I had no bass. Checked the obvious and then tried disabling the Cakewalk bass amp FX I was using (one of Mr Anderton's). That cured it. I then tried different Cakewalk FX - some worked and some didn't. Finally I realised the link is they all use TH2 Producer. My TH2 Producer no longer has any output. The input meters move but, standalone or as part of a FX, there's nothing coming out the other end. I've done nothing to my setup and I'm on the latest (July) Platinum. Just me or a global problem?

Go to options in TH2 and make sure your outputs are what you want.

I'll try when I get back home but I haven't changed anything as I don't use TH2 unless it's part of an FX (and I don't usually use them either!). I take it TH3 hasn't messed with TH2 else there'd be a lot more fuss. Grum.

There are no output options in TH2 as far as I can tell. It's not a standalone version so the output is going to be a standard VST thing. I've reloaded the Boutique Plugins and that's done nothing. I'm starting to get a little bit pee'd off now. I've done nothing and yet the device that colours a bunch of Sonar FX has no output. Grum.

I've raised case number 325622 so let's see how the support team deal with this.
Grum.

If you have the full version of TH2, then you should be able to open it from the folder on your hard drive. If yours is like mine, the options button will be in the upper right hand corner of the GUI. If you have the Sonar version only, then I don't know.

TH3 will seamlessly replace TH2 if TH3 is installed and you open a project containing TH2.

Noel Borthwick [Cakewalk] TH3 will seamlessly replace TH2 if TH3 is installed and you open a project containing TH2.
I'd been playing around to get to the bottom of this and had just found that dragging the TH2.dll away from my installed VSTs made TH3 the default amp in the Cakewalk FX. I then came here to say so and saw your message! I don't pretend to know what caused TH2 to break (my fault finding found it doesn't work in a fresh project in Sonar X2 either) but at least I'm back where I started now. Thanks for posting and you'll be pleased to know Sonar is my bestest buddy again Edit: It doesn't "seamlessly replace" TH2 if TH2 is still available (broken or not). It will seamlessly replace it if you get rid of it.
