zevo,

I'm so sorry for forgetting to celebrate your 3rd anniversary on this forum just a little over 2 months ago.

Will you forgive me?

Oh, will a V-Studio 700 make up for that?

Glad to hear this all worked out for you.

I've been married 20 years to the same woman. It's been 2, maybe 3 of the best years of my life......(rimshot)...."thanks folks, I'm here all week, dont forget your waitress, and try the veal"

This is probably too little and too late, but you might try this website. http://www.birthday-reminders.com/

It's not just for birthdays, as it's name suggests. And you can set reminders as early and often as you want. In this case, I think I'd set a reminder 1 month, 1 week, 2 days and 1 day in advance. It sends email notifications for the reminders. So as long as you check your email fairly often, you'll get the reminders.

I am currently in the process of discreetly obtaining all of my family's birth-dates, and putting them all in here.

Hey it may be shameless, and the woman may be mad that you need a service like this to remember. But she doesn't have to know. And she would be a lot more angry if you forget. She should be impressed that you care enough about remembering to go to the trouble to sign up for this service in the first place. But she probably won't be impressed, so better to not tell her. lol

For birthdays, it tells you how old the person is. And for anniversaries it tells how many years you've been married and all that junk. It's pretty handy. I have a reminder for Valentine's day also.

Cool, thanks for that.
I'm on notification overload now. I have everything in my phone. Everything in Outlook (multiple reminders... week, day before). Everything in iCal (multiple reminders... two weeks, week, 2 days and day before EVERYTHING). And I have a calendar up with written notes.

NOT going to happen again.
I hope.

With my luck my computer will die a month before in a way I can't fix for the entire month, and I'll loose my phone. Hehehe.

Oh, this is tooo funny - I was reading through this, thinking to tell you something along the lines of, "Yeah, you may have to grovel a little, and some extra attention in the romance department would help, blah blah blah", but then... the twist. Hilarious. As if the wedding anniversary weren't enough, my husband and I also make a little deal out of our "First date anniversary"... we couldn't decide on the actual date, so we compromised and settled on the day in between. Most times we remember, but sometimes we look at each other at midnight and say, "Oh, Hey! it's our anniversary!". But no, he's never forgotten the actual day of our wedding. I'd forgive him, though if he did - sometimes life moves too fast and memory has a hard time catching up.

I can guarantee one thing - You'll never "forget" again! And your wife is lucky to have a man who was thrown into a tizzy at just the *thought* that he may have forgotten. Mamabear's right. Some women need to grow up. Good luck to you, and have a fabulous anniversary.
