Cakewalk UA1G Interface

Hi all

Im thinking about getting the cakewalk UA1G i want to use it on my laptop wich has a
crappy soundmax card.Does anyone here know some more about some pro and cons?
Im always distrusting about cheap interfaces but this one seems well made and nice and portable.

look forward to some feedback thx.

    I'm sure if you post Kate will be of help with any specific questions / concerns you have.

    I don't own the unit, I mean because it's pretty new on the market, new you might not get a lot of feedback from people just yet.

    if you ask, maybe include what windows you use (32 / 64 / xp / vista etc) , if it's a cakewalk host.etc. might help demystify some of it. Although if you look at the post Kate made, there is some info for you.

    AT now your task is to find me the Roland / edirol equivalent hehe

    some of the older products cake do are, not sure about the new lot.. I guess they leave roland to specialise on the hardware, while cake deals with the software... and they meet up and drink copious amounts of errmm.. coffee

    no could find - maybe it was the midi unit someone said was a rebadged product.

    I guess they meet and have coffee - and Cake!
