Wrong again..

I dunno. Tsk. I ordered a couple of CD's from Am***n, and what did they send me?

A weak lemon drink
Some ungainly thrusting
A limited edition copy of 'Stan - A Baboon's Life'
1 kilo of powdered Water
14 frightened Italian Priests
An escape route from occupied Warminster
A pale thin boy with a note
Mount Fuji
The verb to Horse
A close run thing
6 cheeky otters
A reason for leaving
One half of the Climax Blues Band
A cloth chimney
An unpredictable mood swing
Wild Bill Hickock's mirror
A nervous bullock
Goa
A gigantic lecherous Guano Bat
A 50' Marshal Ney formed from Lime Pickle
Two Biblical Plagues
Assorted savage haircuts
Owl curry

Can't they get anything right...?

    James,
use www.find-dvd.co.uk I use it ALL the time for boxsets / games / books / albums , the price difference between some companies is a joke.

a company with 3 Letters.. beginning with "H" really *coughed* up an order for my sis's birthday present.. 2 months late.. and in the meantime sent me the wrong DVD for her. So a few weeks back I got an email about a refund... they really messed up.. so I rang em to say I got the film.. the woman said to keep the money.. oh yer ..

there is a thing about the film on errm Monday / Tuesday about it. "the guys who bought a lion from harrods" or something like that on channel 5.. Christian the lion was the film, she's into all that born free stuff... but it was nice to watch anyway.

I never had any problems with, book fella's is where I bought Scott's 2 books from .. far cheaper than the "A" site .. and the only other company I'll big up is Ebuyer.. they don't mess about

hmm gotta say i've had no probs with amazon. their secondhand book market is pretty cool too. i agree ebuyer is excellent, we also use play.com for cheap cds/dvds, not to mention asda/tesco etc...still, i live 2 minutes from the postal sorting office/city link depot, not in the middle of dumfriesshire where getting the wrong thing is prob a real PITA...

You can have 'em for free. They're getting on my nerves with all that formation crouching, and dancing to 'Respectable' by Mel & Kim.

    Far too cheeky.

Put on Respectable Street by XTC. That always calms mine down.

Excellent suggestion. One of XTC's finest moments, that riff.

You know...it may be the gigantic lecherous Guano Bat doing the ungainly thrusting that is frightening the Italian Priests and making the bullock nervous...I would apply the two Biblical Plagues to the bat and that should solve the problem.

    Just a thought.

You may well be right Andy, time will tell.

    My problem now is, how do I fix my customer profile at A****n? I just got an email with the following recommendations;

'Customers who bought this item also purchased....'

A suitcase containing £8,000 and the middle of a mouse.
    4 salmon thighs
    Edgar Allen Poe's garage
    A cheese parrot
    Several miniature coalmen
    A Dachshund called Colin
    Barb-wire throat pastilles
    Some Holiday Sauce
    A mysterious warm breeze
1 map of Guiting Power, viewed from underground
    Mary Poppins eyes
A loose collection of un-related working class women
    Three lead onions
    Venusian guttering joints
Hammer-horror starlet Ingrid Pitt, r/h side only
    London Borough of Penge
    Lemming cutlets
Northern Alliance & Leicester Building Society paying in book, 1991
Ma Bakers Old Traditional Pretzels May Contain Nuts
    The Royal Pavilion
    A hamster repair kit
    A pair of soap crampons
    A minor event
    The pope
    An ersatz Charles Hawtrey
    Two satirical pie moulds
    A box of retired Brigadiers
    A bag of breath
    Maniac face pills
    A limitless supply of newsreaders
    An incomplete map reference
    A gathering of timid people
    The word "fillip"
    A famous German comedian
Air from the beginning of a tube of ointment
    A Dolly Parton template
    A cavalry charge
Names you can't quite put your finger on
    A treeless landmass
    A country named Betty
    A significant grouping...'

All I wanted was 'Are You Ready' by Buck's Fizz...sigh.
