Pro tools and VS 700c

I'm trying to use the VS700c as a controller for Pro tools.
No luck getting it to communicate.
Is it suppose to run in Hue mode?
What's the procedure?

I have pro tools LE and Sonar Pro on the same computer.
I would like to use the VS700 for both or is this even possible?

    Guy,

Unfortunately PT does not support any control surface protocals other than their own and HUI. The VS-700C can emulate the Mackie Control protocol but not HUI. IOW the VS700C will not work with PT. I suppose it might be possible if you could find a middle-man type app that could convert MCU messages into HUI messages a nd then send them into PT.

Or you could just use SONAR.

I know this is old, but PT now supports other controller modes.  So with PT9, can the 700c function as a contoller?

If PT9 has support for Mackie Universal (MCU) then yes, it should work with the VS-700C? However, I don't know if PT9 has support for MCU.

Yeah it was one of the things that kept me away from PT previously... tight integration of Sonar with 700C is honestly the best thing that can happen for the 700 platform. Under X1 now of course...
