Offtopic: Question about UA-1G interface

I didn't see a specific forum for this, so I'm posting this question about the UA-1G interface here. I am looking for a lightweight USB interface and was wondering...

Does anyone know if the UA-1G needs to be power-cycled in order to switch sample rates (or requires Sonar to be shut down for this)? After my last mistake of buying an Edirol FA-66 that requires me to shut down Sonar, shut off the interface, switch to the new sample rate, power the interface on again, and start Sonar up again, I vowed to never ever buy another interface that can't do sample rate switching on the fly.

If the interface can't handle loading two different songs with two different sample rates into Sonar at the same time, and being able to select any one of those two songs at a time and just be able to PLAY it (like all of my previous interfaces were able to do), I'm not interested.

maybe post the question there, I'm sure at least Kate subscribes to the thread, and obvious people that the public see like Brandon / Robin / Seth have the low down on such things..

I guess you might not get so many answers, as most of have sorted out interfaces, and the fact it's a new product..

I'm just curious why that specific interface.. I mean it's good for field stuff , but like my ozone it's not my main thing for mixing down.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just looking for something cheap I can use with a laptop, away from my main DAW.

I was gonna complain about this product cause I've been looking for help and couldn't find anything, turns out, I'm just a dummy. It's all figured out and I'm gonna go play with my new toy. Sorry about the worthless post.
