Steve, thanks. but I'm pretty sure anything frozen would be de-frosted after a 7 or 7.5? hour flight.. etc..

oh you could get me some wild berry skittles.. they are rare over here.

send my regards to Tim Horton(?) hehe

I always forget something when I go shopping, walking it takes 2 minutes to get to a massive supermarket.. by car 5..hehe

I remember an American woman coming in to the local and asking the landlord if there was anything else on the menu.

He made her sit down before telling her the Chef's Special was Faggots in Gravy. Took a while to explain.

I think he got thirsty carrying all of Steve's refreshing beverages and then fell asleep on corner.

Will you go out and see if you can find him? I'm hungry.

    Hi EdenTowers.

I could send you one from Québec, but it would cost more in shipping and handling

A 540 ml can cost almost 10$ CDN (5,60 Pounds)

By the way, it's the "Sugar" season over here and the weather is perfect this year.

Alvie, thanks for the offer but I have to admit that my local supermarket were doing an end of line clearance at half price. So I bought 20 bottles. I think the checkout operator thought we had some kind of weird fetish.

By the way, it's 5 pounds or more for a 250ml bottle here, not the 540 ml one you mentioned!

    Cheers,
    Phil

Phil, you do realise now I'm gonna be going aroiund price matching it now? aggh!! lol

end of line? must mean it's not sold so well. probably because it was too expensive...

there is tax on it I guess, I mean it's an import, and not exactly a staple food

I'm sure I saw it in a local Tesco though a while back

    Paul,
yes it was a Tesco 'Finest' product. (Interpret 'Finest' as "The quality they should be supplying as the norm")

I'm expecting it to replaced by that wholesome American alternative, "Breakfast Syrup" with "genuine fully synthesized artificial Maple Flavoring".

One in every eight pounds spent in the UK is spent in Tesco.

I've done my best to countereact that today by having a blitz in Marks and Spencer and buying all sorts of goodies for my wife's birthday meal tonight.

    Cheers,
    Phil
