thank you very much larry. ORIGINAL: lhansen Much better! This is sweet!! Mix sounds nice and clean, along with your voice. 'Spacious' would be a good word. Well done.

I like it better too, Alan. Sorry--I know you were going for that big stadium feel. And hey, if that's what you like, leave it. But this sounds great to me. :-)

At first I'm like Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Boy! This is a hard tune to sing but you pulled it off. Mix sounds great I didn't hear the heavy verb version but I'm always a fan of less is better. GREAT JOB! LATER Kev

thanks kev, i wasn`t sure about my vox performance but am settling in to it now, i`ve never really been happy with my voice though, i guess takin 10 years of wasn`t the smartest thing to do in hindsight. The one thing I would do is work on the mic technique a bit; in the beginning it sounds like either the mic was a tad hot or you were to close to it. And there could be more compression on the voice as well.

hi james, give me some setup tips for the mic, i`m always to close to it, i use an SM 58 with a puff cover on a shock mount stand, the sibilance from my vox was horrible when i didn `t have the filter on but now i feel like i need to be right up to it to get a good signal, any help would be severely appreciated,i always comp my vox the same through my Rvox with a dave pensado preset into an LA-2A. I know this song and I like it!! The arrangement is great. It seems that the reverb can be there or not be there. The guitar is obviously awesome and your voice is awesome. You could do this song with no effects at all in my opinion.

thanks warren, i`m glad you have that much confidence in my voice, that you think i can let it stand on it`s own undressed, i wish i felt that way about my voice, but i never have not even back when i sang in bands in the 80`s, so i doubt i`ll be able to change the way i feel, but it`s great to have friends like you to make me wanna feel that way. I was never a huge fan of the original song but I like what you've done with it. I'm kind of relieved to hear that it's a real guitar being played. I also listened to some of your myspace stuff. You've got a good voice, man.

I didn't hear the original version, but the new version sounds great! Dude, you can freakin' sing!!! I remember trying to pull this song off in a few cover bands 15-20 years ago - but nobody could ever nail the vocals so we always scrapped it. Nice interpretation!

thanks dave , well the first version was just heavily verbed and it had that stadium reflection and pinging sound to it, so you didn`t miss much. Thanks for the props on my voice.
