quick browser query

hi all,

...just got the upgrade to Rapture... really like it, etc... I also downloaded the expansion packs 1 and 2, no prob, but: those patches only show up if I choose "Load Program" from the program handling options button... if I use the Rapture browser (the one with the dark background) they aren't there. --- no real issue, any ideas? thanks, jgirv

The browser window maintains a static "cache" of the folders and patchfiles and it does not automatically refresh itself when new folders or patchfiles are installed from outside the program. Just launch Rapture, open the browser window, and press F5 on the computer keyboard to manually refresh it. Your expansion packs should be revealed then.

This is a good tip to remember whenver you're in a Windows program that has a file browser. Many applications use F5 as their "refresh" the window button. Maybe it all started back with the old Program Manager, but Rapture and DimPro's browsers work this way, as does the great (and under appreciated) little sample synth that comes with Sonar, DropZone.
