Cake Please Make A Mobile Version of the Forums

Hi
I own a Kindle and have become a nerd with the danged thing. It has basic internet services but can't handle flash or comparable things. I cannot get the forums to come up on it as I get the message "An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the webmaster at..."

I take my Kindle everywhere. I go to tons of web pages with it, but my favorite website (this one) is unaccessible.

Now I am not asking you guys to abandon the $500 version of V Studio 700 or Sonar 10, but can you get the webmaster to do whatever it takes to make the forum accessible by devices besides traditional computers? My black berry can read it, but it is so small that I need to shrink myself 80% to read an entire line.

Surely there are others that try to access the website with other devices.

Thanks. Hope to see it by Monday morning. (Just joking, though I have had similarly bold requests during my career).

I dont care if it is dumbed down a bit.

I second the motion. We need a .mobi site.

    Hey
    A new bookmark! Yea!!!!!

Scott I have to confess - I own a ton of your books but always forget about your website. It is a pleasure to visit, but I am ADD/OCD sometimes and only remember two things - sonar forums and .... uh.... I forget.... what were we talking about?

    We need a .mobi site.

    There is THIS

    Hey Space,

Cool... so I'm assuming that means that my sites work okay in Kindle?

    Do they look okay too?

    Thanks!

Nothing looks exactly right on the Kindle since it was really optimized for text, but I am more after the text anyway. I understand the limitations of the device, but it is so handy having 30-40 books, a dictionary or two, a thesaurus, an encyclopedia, the CIA world fact book (economic and other statistics of most every country in the world)...

Sonar forums will not come in at all, but the newsletters work like hoses.

The Kindle is so great for reading stuff you want to keep up with whether it is INTERNET stuff or books. It would be cool to get a dupe of my Sonar 8 and my SF 8 on Kindle so I could read on airplanes. Did you ever do a SF9?

    Thanks

    Hey Space,

Cool... as long as the DigiFreq sites are functional for now, that's good. Eventually, I'll have to get my hands on a Kindle.

Regarding books on the Kindle... I'm still talking to the publisher about this, but it may be a possibility. You can be sure that if it comes true that I'll be letting everyone know about it.

No, haven't done an SF9 book.

    Best,
    Scott
