What shouldn't you have bought?

For me, there are three things that stand out - all made by Boss.

A Boss ME-30 - never could figure out how to work that thing.
A Boss GT-3 and GT-6 - both of them sound crappy to me.

What else?

A Peavey combo tube amp in 1990(ish). Sounded awful, even to my novice ears.
A Peavey 2x10/1x15 bass cabinet. Even properly paired (correct ohms etc) with a small amp, I blew all 3 speakers very quickly.
A Fostex outboard digital 8-track. Cost more than Sonar HomeStudio, with 1/100th of the capability...
My ex-wife's engagement & wedding rings.
A Hohner headless B2ADB bass, one of the little square black things. Terribly uncomfortable to play, and silly to see. Sounds surprisingly good for recording though (if nobody's watching).

Korg D-1600 ... in an attempt to get back into recording after my OS upgrade killed my first DAW..... I kept it about 4 months... didn't record anything with it other than a few crappy scratch demos..... I erased all the files, and sold it on Ebay.... went and bought a new laptop and MC4 with a good interface..... mission accomplished.

Musically - Probably should not have bought the Vox Valvetronix I have. I do not care for it much. Then again, I have a bunch of amps. Also, I own two wavestations - a rack and a key one. They are way too hard to program.

Back when I used to make good money, I bought my then wife (currently ex) a 5 carat diamond. She was going to get me a real 1959 burst. We got divorced about 2 years later. She has the rock. I never got the guitar. My guess is that the rock is worth about 1/2 of what I paid for it back then. I know for a fact the 59 burst is worth about 5x what I would have paid if I had gotten it for myself and said s&*w the b&$^h. And since we are divorced, she doesn't wear the ring. Double dammit.

    Pioneer Investments

The owner of Pioneer Investments lost 2 Big Ones to a certain Mr. Madoff through one of its subsidiaries.

Boss BR-1600CD. I use Cakewalk. The BR just collects dust.

The 2007 Toyota Tundra for my 31 year old daughter who barely makes the payments each month (my gut starts wrenching about the 14th and does not let up until I get the payment, usually around the 25th).

Digitech (I think it was) Eric Clapton Crossroads fx pedal - I love EC's playing and believe in the mission of the Crossroads Centre (a portion of the proceeds was to go to the operation) but this pedal is the noisiest piece of stuff I have ever heard
Acid Pro 6 - thought I'd give it a try as an alternate daw software to Sonar 5 years back but was I ever mistaken. As unstable as the San Andreas Fault.
Plymouth Arrow back in the early 80's - Mitsubishi piece of crapola that blew 3 engines in 2 years.
