Latest SOS

Did anyone read that interview in SOS with the Dutch Engineer / Producer who works with David Foster.

Sure it was all about Cubase, but damn it was nice to read about a very successful guy using Voxengo plug-ins (even mentioned Alexi by name)

I could actually visualize all the things he was doing. No McDSP plugins etc. No mention of a MacBook and PT. Quite refreshing.

Except for the expensive outboard stuff, mics and pres, I thing a lot of us here have the same tools. Oh and that working with David Foster thing, that probably helps too.

Nope. Missed the article, but it sounds interesting. I want to subscribe to SOS. Anyone know of any subscription "deals" available?

    Thanks.

Are you talking about the one with Modulars as the main article? Haven't read the article yet, but I usually read SOS from cover to cover once and re-read numerous things again.

I kind of liked the one last month on the new Cubase. I know there have to be a number of features that are not in Sonar, but pretty much everything they highlighted was.

My copy dropped through my mail-slot on Monday. I saw that article listed, and it looked good aside from the cubase-specific stuff. Hoping to check it out tonight.
