Ok I admit it...

I fess up. I play guitar hero and rockband with my kids and I LIKE it! I even went out and got the Metallica guitar hero yesterday!
Almost 40 years old and I still love video games. As a kid a had the "pong" console and of course all the others, Atari 2600, Coleco vision, Commodore 64, Commodore Amiga, Nindendo...

Had to buy the kids PS2 and Xbox360 (I play as much as they do). World of warcraft addict since launch (ouch don't wanna admit that hehe).

I Have a whole cd tower full of PC games.

Kinda remind myself of the people who fly real planes but keep the flight simulators on the down low when talking to other pilots for fear of ba** busting.

So anyone else as old or older than me wanna come clean too?

You know you like it too!

Cheers,
Rick

Come clean? I am an on/off game junk of the worst kind. Funny enough, my optometrist was really surprised to see my eyesight improving, lately. I like the games where you have to sneak in more than shoot your way in.

I told other peope about it, and they had a hard time believing. Yet it's true:

My eyes gained a whole point on the scale since they were last checked, which I have done every year or so.

    I'll confess no such thing...

I don't play games, unless you count Flight Simulators that is... Then I'm gone on some trans-atlantic trip.

I like making the planes too.

But yep I go back to the 8 bit Commodore days too, sure I get older but I found that I can stay immature for ever and that's the way I like it.

We got Guitar Hero for christmas... the kids wore it out, and got really good at it.... I play guitar and I can only get through a song on the easy setting....

It's fun to watch them play it.... they're outta my league now.... I wonder...does Mel Bay sell a guitar book for Guitar Hero?

The closest I get to games is my son just finished audio work (as part of team) on Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP.

Never played any type of computer based games. Stopped playing pinball machines in 1974. Never looked back.
