Some new stuff

I figure it would be quicker and easier to pop my stuff in one post rather than a bunch of separate ones :)

New mixes- 1.Christmas(Single Edit)- This one is about roadworthy, I'll probably rework it for the album but not too much :)
2.The Gathering Storm(Clarity Mix)- Tried a quick master on this one, but since I don't have any plans for it right now I guess this is fine.

New Song Posts- 1.Bone Dance- oldy and moldy!
2.Mass- yup, another oldy moldy!
3.Jupiter's Eye- my first attempt at a Tangerine Dream style piece...and oldy moldy to boot!
4.Oceans- so what's with all this old stuff??? ;0)
5.Solitaire(For the British Bulldog)- mellotron and Churchill, what more do you need?
6.The Space Between(Pre-Edit)- chances are an edited version of this will be the album opener this Fall :)

So other than Christmas and The Space Between the rest is some flotsam and jetsam I've had laying around. Right now I have something different in the works- guitar, bass, and drums, an old-style metal thing with some orchestral elements here and there :)

I use reverbnation so everything is here- Bill Heins Music

That's all, enjoy your evening folks!

I am a space junkie so I am listening to Jupiter's eye.

    Nice synths, who's are they?

I listened to a little of a few more as well so You must have some talent!

    Nice work

    Yo Cookie,

Not sure what to listen to and comment on, here, as there are multile tunes. But I heard Solitare and Gathering Storm, and they're pretty cool. I must say that I've never heard songs about Churchill. Great subject matter, for sure. Good synth wash, suitable for the subject.

I guess you've read William Manchester's 'Alone'. A pity he couldn't finish the series- the first two volumes were great.

    Cheers,

    Bert

    Hey guys, thanks for listening!

Mark- the first time I played that riff all I could thyink about was Christmas, cool that I'm not the only one to see it :)

Ron- On Jupiter's Eye I used a Roland JV-1000 with the VE-JV1 and Vintage Synth expansion boards. Patch-wise it was a combination of old "Korg" and "Roland" sounds.

Bert- My favorite is Martin Gilbert's Churchill: A Life. My father has the Second World War set and I'm hoping he "donates" it to me ;) Unfortunately the source for the spoken part was so clear I had to find radio noise and interference to "age" the recording :)
