Channel Strip and VST Plugins

I'm looking at getting the VS-700 or the Mackie MCU Pro with the Mackie Control C4 Pro to control my vst plugin effects. Can the channel strip control on the VS-700 control any VST plugin, like waves?

    Yes, it can control any plugin out there, and soft synths as well.
