The P5 arp! P5 is discontinued, but you might find it for a good price.

    Hi Maurice,

There is an MFX ARP in SONAR that works for basic/classic stuff, but nothing as advanced as what you are talking about and which AT mentions (picking up P5 cheap is an option).

Having said that we realize SONAR could do with a great ARP (like the one in P5). Stay tuned.

    Brandon,

the world waits with bated breath.

As you know, there are a lot of good things we hope to see grafted from P5 into SONAR.

    That sounds interesting.

I'm getting ready to upgrade to Sonar 8 in the next few weeks. I wonder if I'll need to stay tuned until Sonar 9.

You might want to check out the Arturia ARP 2600V synth to see if it can do what you want. They currently have a 1/2 off sale on the current version.
I use other Arturia synths with Sonar 8.3. They work great. When you right click on the FX bin in an audio channel, the Arturia ARP 2600V shows up as an Audio FX option. The Minimoog also has that capability to process audio as an input as an Audio FX device. I haven't tried using that feature. I only see that it is available.
