Free Sonar / DR-008 / Vsampler Cocktail Kit
This was done ultra quick and dirty, but it's a single layer sample set of my acoustic cocktail kit, setup to work with the DR-008 that comes with Sonar. The samples are in wave format so you could easily load them into something else too. Anyway, it's here if anybody want's it to grab it. http://members.cox.net/gl...ennbo'sCocktailKit.zip Here's a short preview of it, played from a keyboard. http://www.soundclick.com...575&songID=9028845 This is the kit.

What version of Sonar did DR-008 come with? I've only been a sonarian since version 6. Thanks for the kit though Sounds great to me.

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

Legion What version of Sonar did DR-008 come with? I've only been a sonarian since version 6. It used to come with Sonar, I don't know when the quit including it. It's easy enough to load the samples into something else though. Thanks for the kit though Sounds great to me. No problem. Some folks in another forum have asked me on numerous occasions to sample my cocktail kit, and since I did this version, I thought I'd share it elsewhere as well.

Glennbo The samples are in wave format so you could easily load them into something else too. The next incarnation of my cocktail kit. This one is done as a Vsampler instrument, and has more samples than the original. It now includes sidestick, rimshot, and crash 2 on the crash ride cymbal. It also rotates the voices so that the cymbals sound less fake. Hopefully this structure will translate properly on other people's systems. I made it so it should function as a self contained folder with the samples and .vs3 file together. Anyway, the new version is here. Enjoy!!! http://members.cox.net/sp...ennbo'sCocktailKit.zip

Mod Bod That sound's pretty good. Thanks! Did you try the Vsampler version? It's much more tweaked than the DR-008 version. If not, the Vsampler file to load is in the samples folder, making it self contained. Hehe, when does the SDX version come out? When Toontrack releases a free SDX editor I'll give it a shot. Their cocktail kits all sound like total dog doo doo.

Oh, well the samples are in wave format, and there's a DR-008 file plus a Vsampler file if you have either of those. I still have both coz I didn't fall for the 64 bit thing <g> Anyway, the full set of wave base samples and the two respective sample player files are all in this .zip file. http://members.cox.net/sp...ennbo'sCocktailKit.zip

I can never have enuf drum kits! ;-) Keni You're welcome! This one has both the DR-008 and Vsampler versions. http://members.cox.net/sp...ennbo'sCocktailKit.zip The Dr-008 file is outside the samples folder, and the Vsampler file is inside the samples folder.

Thanks Glenbo! Free goodies are always welcomed by me. hehe What version of Sonar did DR-008 come with? Version 2, or 3. But I'm pretty sure it was version 2.
