How is Rapture supposed to be installed?

I got the retail version of Rapture. I have downloaded the 1.1 update, the 1.2 update and also the 1.2.1. hotfix.

The question is, how do I install Rapture?

A. install retail version then apply the 1.2.1. hotfix
B. install retail version then install 1.1 update, then 1.2 update then the 1.2.1 hotfix
C. install 1.1 update, then the 1.2 update then the 1.2.1 hotfix
D. install 1.2 update then the 1.2.1 hotfix
E. Just install 1.2.1

You see there's so many scenarios as to installing Rapture. Cakewalk makes it very frustrating and confusing to the customer.

And as a Sonar user, should I not install Rapture LE before installing the full version of Rapture?

It's been a little while, but IIRC:
You can get a 1.2 INSTALLER, which has everything, and then patch it to 1.2.1.
There might even be a 1.2.1 installer, but I haven't checked (system's working, so I'm not changing anything).

Each product and update has installation instructions, read and follow them or you can try all the combinations and see which works best for you.

Well the installation instructions for 1.2 mentions uninstalling version 1.1 if you have it installed on a 64 bit system, but what about the 32 bit users? So I assume I need to first install 1.1 then the 1.2 update.

Try all the combination's? This is not Chemistry. There's got to be a correct way to install Rapture with the new 1.2 update and now the 1.2.1 hot fix.

If you are installing a fresh installation of Rapture on your computer you can just install the 1.2.1 update.

If you have any old installations uninstall them first, then install 1.2.1

Rapture LE has a different VST ID it can run simultaneously with the full version of Rapture so you don't need to worry about uninstalling it.
