Square 1 standalone?

Can Square 1 only be used within a programme, or does it also work like a standalone product? Asking because I need to use this live on a machine that doesn't have Sonar installed.

    Use Toby Bear's MiniHost to load any VST synth as a standalone instrument.

    Also check out savihost - http://www.hermannseib.com/english/savihost.htm

    Works great and it's free. It also allows you to change the BPM.
