turning off (qwerty) keyboard interaction with Sonar

hi

i'm on sonar 3 and i want to occasionally use my qwerty keyboard as a midi trigger source. i have found a couple of programs and the problem is that when i hit the keys it also interacts with the sonar qwerty commands (eg changes the editing tool). is there any way that i can turn this off - i can't see anything in general options.

No, the tool you found should do that (for all programs) Sonar does not have that feature (any version).

dunno about that version.. but does it have things like key bindings? for midi control for the transport. You could always use something like bome keyboard and a virtual midi port.. midiox or yoke..

I mean there is the thing where you can turn off output to sonar in VST's.. but I'm guessing thats a later thing.. I only found that out when I was typing in a preset name to Kore.. that had an "R" in it.hehe
