Akai EWI USB and Sonar

I'm going to set up my first usb contoller later this week. The Akai Wind Controller. Any guidance or caveats in doing so before I try to implement it with Sonar. The Garritan software bundle uses Aria as a standalone program and as a vst. Any help appreciated.

Running Sonar X1, Vista Business x64, Intel i7 920, Delta44, usb midiman 4X4, 6 gb mem, midiman multimixer 6,Korg X5, E-mu Mophatt

    No. It should work fine.

    Works great here!

    Try the EWI with Z3ta+. You can use its MIDI matrix to assign breath (CC2) to play many the patches. The Aria software is OK, but you can bet better sounds with other (more expensive!) software. Or, you can tweak the modules that come with Sonar. Z3ta+ is my favorite, but you can also mess around with Dimension and Rapture.
