V-Vocal Issue!!! a big one

hi Cakewalkers

im a bit new to v vocal, my problem is this, i edit a weak part in my vocals, sure i got that, but as the song plays over the area where the v-vocal ends and the regular wave begins again, i get a clicking sound, very annoying, its almost like the wave form is clipped (v vocal seams to do just that clip/scissors) the wave form.... that sound it makes as the playhead goes over it, i havent found anything in these forums for this issue yet, ive expanded the track to show all tracks, there is a muted track beneath it, which hasnt been touched by v-vocal, i unmuted it and it is the original voice without v-vocal, so im wondering what a guy does to rid of this sound as it goes into and out of an edit vocal area? and yes i pressume my voice is in stereo... and its editing in mono, but slices the wave form to make it mono? i hope im making a little sense here, its a VERY big problem for me i just want a nice smooth track no bumps and click sounds!

PS.yes i have bounced to clip and then bounce to track ect but the noise is still there
thanks in advance

Voice should be recorded in mono
    V-Vocal should process in mono
V-Vocal in and out points should be chosen to be in the gaps between phrases, so they will not be audible, or can be manually faded in the event that they are.

Make sure you have Snap to Zero Crossing selected in the Snap to Grid menu.

The click you hear is the result of a sudden change in level, and is a normal artifact of splitting clips.

There are two approaches to eliminating it: making sure each clip starts and stops on a zero-crossing, or using crossfades. The latter is more convenient. Just do a short slip fade at the beginning and end of the V-Vocal processed clip (hover your mouse near the top of the clip at its leading or trailing edge until you see a triangle cursor, then drag).

    Hi,

Sometimes the pre-adjusted clip beneath the v-vocal clip plays along with the v-vocal clip. Open the multiple lanes in a track, and then make sure the original clip is muted. I usually delete the original clip if I like the v-vocal clip.

In my Sonar 8.5 PE, V-Vocal is grayed-out and unresponsive, whether I right-click an audio clip or use the Edit menu...
    Any idea why?
    Thx

Try bouncing the clip (right click, select "bounce to clip") first.

Hey, I think my V-vocal is corrupting my sessions.  I get an error message stating that the V-vocal "Cronus" is having problems and that's why Sonar is closing the session.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
