Copy and Paste Multiple Tracks ?

can anyone tell me if it is possible to Copy and paste multiple tracks ( audio ) ?

let's say i've used 8 tracks to for the first verse of a song ...and i would like to use the same tracks that i've created for the 2 nd verse...right now what i have to do is copy each individual track and paste it...it seems to me that Cakewalk would give you the option to copy and paste all the tracks at once...i'm a newbie ...maybe this action goes under another name other than copy and paste ..i don't know ...i've looked in the help box ..and cannot find anything...any insight would be appreciated...RW

Of course you can. To select multiple tracks, hold down the control key and click on each track # or if the tracks are contiguous, select the first track, hold down the shift key and click on the last track. Then select copy and then paste. You can paste them to multiple tracks or merge them to a single track.

Daveny5 ..Thanks for the response...that would copy the entire track...i was hoping to be able to highlight let's say measure 38 thru measure 46 of tracks 1 thru 8 ...then copy and paste...instead of entire track 1 thru 8 ...is that possible ?..or am i just thinking about it in the wrong way ?..thanks in advance...RW

Yes, just use the cut tool (scissors icon) to split the measures at the appropriate place (use 'snap-to-grid' for accuracy), then do the cut and paste.

It ain't working for me.  It's aggravating.  Ity seems I copy just fine, but when I paste the beginning measures (where I have a fade up) copy too and get inserted onto the tracks I'm pasting to.
