Big Ups To Sonar

I just wanted to say something positive about this software if I may....I've been using Sonar for a few yrs now, started with home studio a few yrs back before upgrading to PE4, I am now using 8.5...My point is, ovr the yrs I have never had any significant problems or issues with this software, I use it everyday, some days all day and it has always been rock solid for me..I don't even have one of those state of the art computers, I am still using a single core 939 mobo, with an athlon 64 3500+ cpu....I am into smooth jazz and R+B, and working on my second cd, thanks to sonar......I would recomend this software to anyone trying to build a home studio, like anything else you have to spend time with it, experiment a lot, and just about everything you need to know is in the manual and Scott Garrigus Power  series....Exercise a lot of common sense, and it's your studio, don't be afraid to try different things, this is a very powerful and user friendly piece of software, compared to some of the others.....Again just my 2 cents, big ups to the peps at cakewalk, and last but not least big ups to the helpful peps on this forum....Peace..

I have never had any significant problems or issues with this software, I use it everyday, some days all day and it has always been rock solid for me.

No problems and 9 posts in 4 years. Dude, you should check in more often; we need some optimism to counterbalance the whiners around here! Just a weekly "nope, still no problems" update would do.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Hey Paulo,

Thank you too! Honestly, I didn't see your post at the time. I wonder if we were maybe posting right around the same time. I'm definitely grateful whenever anyone posts nice things about my work.

    Best,
    Scott

Bitflipper, Your always on time, and always right on target....I always look for your posts, thanks. PS I have been using Sonar since the beggining and I have had a moment or two of frustration mixed with hundreds of hours of creative bliss....it is a super application, as I have stated in other posts...
