Thanks for the kind reviews guys

BayouBill - seems to me more of a relax-for-the-evening tune than an up-and-off-to-work tune - boy you guys must be really chilled down south!

Thanks mate - always nice to get good feedback from players of your calibre.

I call it my "Peter Green" tone. Probably not too accurate but it's what I was aiming for.

did you upgrade from GTP3, if so was it easy?

I like the song alot, how easy (or not) was it to use the virtual instruments, especially drums. I was looking for a virtual drum solution, but figured it would be cheaper to upgrade to GTP4

thanks for any info you can provide

G'day mate - sorry I haven't been able to spend much time here lately - in the middle of a massive server upgrade at work.

The GTP4 upgrade was a major headache - but a lot of it was Cakewalks problem - read the whole story here.

The drums? I mostly used midi loops and tweaked them a bit in the piano-roll view. I am evaluating Jamstix at the moment - looks promising as a vst drummer addition to GTP4 - hopefully will sound a little more "human".
