Beatscape - Audio Pops

I have never sliced a beat in my life but I have found a usefull application for Beatscape.  I use an audio file created by a bass player I work with and bring it into Beatscape.  I use a midi controller to trigger individual slices from the clip allowing me to quickly create intros, outros, chorus variants, etc.  This works great with the exception that the resulting audio file has audio snap crackle pop in it.  Am I doing somethng wrong?  Is there a work around?

if you specified slices that aren't on zero points.. that could be the issue..

if your new to sampling thats one of the first things.. you find a zero point for looping or slicing..

but it could be something else like your soundcard setting / latency

That is exactly what it sounds like Fog.  But, shouldn't Beatscape deal with this.  What's the point of being able to trigger slices of a clip in Beatscape if the resulting audio is loaded with clicks and pops?  I am probably missing something else about Beatscape.  Thanks.
