TIP: Previewing soft synth sounds without playing each one

Okay as a new user to Sonar 8 I'm amazed at the number of sounds in Dim Pro, Rapture and Z3ta.

Here is a way to loop some midi notes to preview all those hundreds of sounds without playing each one.

1. Insert your soft synth and set up your midi track and audio track as normal.
2. Record a few notes on your midi track.
3. Highlight
4. Right Click on selection at the top (measures/bars)
5. Go To Loop--
                        Set loop points
6. Press space on your keyboard

Now you can change the presets with the arrow keys on your computer keyboard and preview the different sounds without playing each one.

I sometimes hit space and play the sound if I think it might be a keeper.
