Another Sonar vs Kontakt 3.5 Problem

I have discovered another weird Kontakt 3.5 problem - something that never happened on earlier versions.

Several times I have opened a saved project and on hitting play, have heard a very low frequency motor boating sound. (Not the motor boating that has been the subject of much controversy here - but like the electronic motorboating, i.e., low freq speaker pumping, etc.)

Last nite I discovered (in Sonar 4 - yes I know) that in one of several instances of Kontakt on such a project, the instrument "tune" knob had somehow been turned to zero! Causing the samples to be played in a subsonic range.

Of course the simple fix is just to reload that instance of Kontakt and its instruments, but I would like to know why this is happening.

Has anyone seen this? Any ideas?

Note that I did toggle CC7 when opening this project to make Mr Sax work.

Thanks

For what it's worth I've had the same thing happen with Kontakt 3.5 64-bit when recording sax parts with my Yamaha WX5 wind controller.  It hasn't occurred on other recordings from my Motif, just the WX5.  But the other recordings haven't required pitch bend control.  My thought when this happened was that the WX5 pitch signal was not interpreted correctly by Kontakt 3.5, but I really haven't had the time figure it out.  This weekend I'll check it out with my Photon x25 controller.  It is an annoying problem.

    Thanks for the reply Mike.

Last nite I discovered that the transpose knob, on the options page, was also resetting itself to 0!

Interestingly, when I reset this and the "tune" knobs, the instance of Kontakt on a different track with Mr Sax on it started up on its own... Humm. Apparently, the settings on these two instances of Kontakt are interacting somehow. Note that all of the instruments running on all Kontakt instances are set to different midi channels.

I am starting to wonder if this is a Mr Sax bug or issue. IIRC, this is the first time I have tried to use Mr Sax (B) and Kontakt 3.5 library samples at the same time. (Mr Sax B rocks BTW. Sounds surprisingly real - even as a solo instrument in a mix.)

Again, freezing the effected tracks before closing this project is an obvious fix - but I am still working on the arangement.
