BitBridge on Sonar 8.5 - Has MIDI Output been implemented?

Greetings everyone,

I'd like to ask whether MIDI output for VST plugins has been implemented in Sonar 8.5, since that would be the primary reason for me to upgradge from 8.3.

PS. I am considering buying jBridge. However I had some stability issues with its demo and the EZPlayer Pro plugin, so I'd prefer a BitBridge solution if possible (strangely, I don't have any issues with BitBridge).

    Yes, it has!!!!
    ...but Superior is not working at the moment...

    Talk to Jose (I think that's his name) at Jstuff.wordpress.com@gmail.com if the troubleshooting guide http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/jbridge-troubleshooting/ can't help. For me Jbridge works wonders....

    Thank you both for the replies.

    @MetalManiac, what do you mean by Superior not working? Are you referring to the Superior VST, EZ Player VST or MIDI out from EZ Player to Superior?

    @vocalid, I've tried all these to no avail. The problem is quite peculiar in itself, since it reports a sudden error message after some time has passed working with Sonar.

    PS. It also reports that "the plugin has stopped working" (or similar) after 20 minutes I believe, but I know this is due to using the demo version.

    Superior doesn't load it's samples... :-(

    Under SONAR 8.3.1 (x64) in VISTA SP3 (x64) I have Superior 2 and EZP Pro working flawlessly.

    Obviously in my setup Bitbridge works OK with these 2 (32bit) VST's
    There's something in 8.5.1. that breaks this or so I've read in a few posts.

    Yes MIDI output for VST plugins was implemented in the new bitbridge.

    mudgel, did you manage to send MIDI instructions from EZ Player Pro to Superior with Sonar x64? If so, could you explain how you've achieved that?

    EDIT: Many thanks Noel for your prompt reply! I'm seriously considering upgrading to v8.5 now (despite the price difference with jBridge).
