if anyone can give me tips on industrial music...

this is the kind of music i wish i could make, any idea how this stuff is done? heres an example off of ohGr's album SunnyPsyOp please any tips are appreciated, i have Guitar Tracks Pro 3 and Sonar 7.

    For the beats I'd get a big library of midi loops, really any - not just ones labeled "industrial" and feed those into a drum soft synth or three.  Midi is nice since you can feed any soft synth with them and control the final sound and they are more easily manipulated than audio loops.  Feel free to layer them up, and mix and match.  You can get a lot here for not too much money.

    You'll need some decent distortion effects as well.  Try Voxengo's free amp sim Boogex and Tube Amp:

    Sonar Producer Edition should have enough soft synths to get you going on that end.

    your stuff is awesome btw, good stuff man. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated, one more thing if i may; at the beginning of that track i originaly posted, the guitar skips and cuts, any idea how to do that. my firneds tel me to just record my guitar track then clip it till i get that rythem but that takes so long, theres gotta be something i can do to ge that skiping noise. (first like 10 seconds of the ohgr song i posted above)

    Try something like dblue Glitch or Code Audio BeatBurner, both free.  That may work for the semi random slicing an re-ordering.
