CD Duplication (DiscMakers?)

Next month I'll be shipping off a CD for 500-1000 copies. Is DiscMakers still a good place to go? This looks like a really good deal - 1,000 DigiPaks for $990.

We were only planning on burning 500 (I'd be shocked if we sold more than that...), but with this coupon it's pretty much the same cost to do 1,000. I guess once you add shipping the difference between 500 and 1,000 gets bigger...

I've been an authorized studio partner with them for the past couple of years so I might be slightly biased but Disk Makers is about as good as it gets in this industry. There are tons of options though and it pays to shop around. I would. But having dealt with them now for a while, seen and heard the results of the work they do, I would go with them if I was doing my own album. You might be able to save a penny here or there elsewhere. At the end of the day, I'll bet everyone is within a few cents of each other.

Good luck with your order. Let us know how it turns out for you.

+1 for Discmakers - especially now since they've cut their rates. I'm guessing they're feeling the pinch from the reduction in CD sales by the public and they're pricing accordingly.

I just used Discmakers for this CD, and thought they did a great job.

If I was gonna burn a large number of CD's I'd use them.

Superdups.com is supposed to be quite good and only about 99 cents each if you want lower quanitities.

    Thanks for the responses.

I'll check them out Janet - if we decide to only order 300 or so, it might be a better deal as long as the quality's good.

Gary - congrats on your CD!

    Yes.

+ 1  for discmakers,   great service.  The production specialist are very attentive to whatevr concerns you might have.

...and the final product is a lot better than some other "top" name duplicators i have used.

What about Oasis?  I get a lot of stuff from them and they appear to be on an equal level with Discmakers.  Anybody have any experience with them?
