I assume it has to be made in P5, correct?

I will try to push something out, it won't sound to Halloween though but I am liking it so far.

Sean, it sounds great ............... kind of like Halloween in an industrial factory on Mars. Well, not exactly, but it's pretty cool.
Every time I hear something from you, the mastering seems better than the last. You're getting to be a pro at this stuff.

Can't wait to hear some of the others.

Thanks Chris. It started out as a sound scape, but as i was playing with different things, It started to turn into an actual track :P

most of the track came about on accident. :P It was one of those "damn, that sounds kinda cool - I have no Idea how that happened" kinda tracks :D

I'm just wondering what program you use for mastering your tracks, and or songs?

I use Ozone. Its a CD master with widener, then I tweaked it. changed it to tube, adjusted the highs and lows until i had a sound i liked. most of the tracks I create, I mainly just get everything to balance in the mix. a few tweaks here and there to bring out some of the sounds. lots of panning of tracks so they are not on top of each othere, then I let Ozone do the rest. I really have no clue how to master or mix properly, I just mess around until it sounds good to me. :)

I have a tune in progress, that is inspired by the season, but I don't think I can finish it in time either.

OK .............. I know this is not what I am supposed to be doing here, but I was searching through some old files to find something inspiring and found this old video file.

Quite a few years back, my daughter (I think was around ten or eleven) had a party near Halloween. I made this file to be played through a projector I had at the time. It was displayed on a wall across the room, and the music was played with a lot of help from my sub woofers.

The kids got a kick out of it, although it now doesn't seem too Halloweenish. (I'm not sure that is a real word)

    It's a 47,000 KB AVI video clip

    Just thought I'd share.

(By the way ............... I think I used the original version of P5 to make the audio portion of this. Guess what other program I was using? A double Snickers bar to the winner.

I very much liked the polymeter and time changes going on in that. Without it, this wouldn't be nearly as interesting =)

wow...this forum software is really screwy with cut and paste stuff. I updated the first thread with all the tracks, and it went all crazy on me :P Just fixed it though. sorta.

@ Bull ****...I mean Bulls hit - Nice track. Very cray style you have. that piano is killer! loved how everything had an off beat sound to it.

Well, since seeing the announcement we've been trying but we've not been getting any juice from the fruit.

    Suddenly, we hit on http://soundcloud.com/vassa/discontinued

Hope it gives the listener a feeling for our sadness and anger.

Anyway done in Project 5 exported and chucked into SONAR 8 point something or other for a bit of mastering.

This forum software is abysmal, how on earth do you change the link to text? The url textbox is editable but the text textbox isn't, if you get the drift.
