If you're not hard-up for disc space, disable it in the plugin manager and it shouldn't appear anymore.

That will fix the accidental usage.

But, I am still curious about the file's location.

How do I: delete, uninstall, remove Dimension DXi
I got the impression from reading various threads on this subject that installing the recent update of Dimension Pro (i.e. v1.5) results in the removal of the DXi, which is now no longer supported.  Correct me if I am wrong.

You're not wrong. The update removes the DXi instrument and Dimension (both pro and LE) is only available as a VSTi.

It is for this reason that I am sticking with v1.2.  I have lots of projects that rely on the DXi, so I want to hang on to it for as long as possible.
