GTP4 & GR3 LE tone generator

howdy. have ordered the software (with the usb interface) but not got it yet. it looks like it will be everything i need to get my stuff down. a question though. how are the guitar sounds in guitar rig generated - or other instrument sounds in the software for that matter? is a good soundcard needed to get good sound responses from the virtual instruments? thanks.

The UA-1G usb device that ships with GTP 4 will act as your soundcard once you set the input/output options in GTP 4.  I do not have the UA-1G but I imagine it operates just like my Line 6 Toneport GX usb interface.  I have onboard sound on my motherboard so I use the Toneport interface with ASIO drivers and have no latency issues.  Hope that helps.
