Creating loops

Does anybody here create and use their own "Beat Mapped" loops? I have hundreds of short audio clips that I want to chop up and turn into clips that I can insert into projects. My problem is that they are all recorded at different tempo and length, so they can't be combined without all sorts of adjustments when they are inserted.

I guess what I'm looking for is to make my loops the same as the ones you purchase, such that they can be organized by BPM or One Shots or by certain lengths.

I have achieved this, but with somewhat poor results, and it takes a lot of fumbling around to accomplish the task. By the time I get the loops fixed up the way I want them, I've lost the mood I was in to work on the project.

Any tips would help. Thanks

Drag them into RXP or Beatscape and they chop them up for you. Otherwise you might want to invest in Re-Cycle.

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

+1 for legion's suggestions.  I'll also add DropZone if you have that plugin from cake.

This is good for (but limited to) automated chopping -
